Trade Fair Star For Hong Kong

Trade Fair’s globetrotting son Trade Storm is to target the $A2.3 million Group 1 Hong Kong Mile at Sha Tin on December 14.

The six-year-old won the Group 1 Woodbine Mile in Canada on September 14 then ran third in the Group 1 Breeders Cup Mile in the US on November 1.
Hong King will be the fifth different country in which Trade Storm, trained in England by David Simcock for Qatar Racing, has competed in this year.
“Trade Storm has been a real flag bearer for Qatar Racing,” said David Redvers, their racing and breeding advisor. “He has been all over the world and must be eligible for frequent flyer points.
“His last two runs in Canada and the US were probably the best of his career. He has been moving well and maintaing form. It’s full steam ahead to Hong Kong.”
Simcock said he was ‘very happy’ with Trade Storm.
“He has been an absolute model of consistency,” said Simcock. “He is very exciting.”
