Purchased and developed by Ted van Heemst in 1985, Lynward Park has developed into one of WA’s major thoroughbred breeding operations continually standing high-class stallions including Serheed, the sire of WA champion Northerly, and fellow Group 1 winning producers Cheraw, Dauberval and Bletchley Park. Managed since 2001 by Ted’s son, Troy, Lynward Park is now home to the impeccably-bred Irish Group 1 winner Alfred Nobel and to the brilliant dual Group 2 winner Mahuta, aptly-named ‘the winning machine.’
