Trade Fair’s Run Continues

Trade Fair four-year-old Bumble Bay overcame problems to win the Handicap (two miles) at Uttoxeter in England on Wednesday (July 16) at just his third race start.

Bumble Bay had finished second to Devon General in the Farrell and Brookshaw Handicap (two miles) at Stratford at his previous start.
The English Racing Post reported that Bumble Bay, a 12/1 chance, was held-up mid-field at Uttoxeter but hit the lead with 100 yards to go and went on to win by 1 1/2 lengths.
Bumble Bay is from Amica, by the ill-fated high-class Irish-bred sprinter Averti.
