Trade Fair scored another international double on Thursday – about 14,500km apart.
Firstly, Grand Crusade won the Flos Handicap (1400m) at Northam in WA as a $1.70 favourite. Then Candelita took the Docmail Handicap (13 furlongs) at Bath in England as a 15/8 favourite.
Grand Crusade from Search, by Royal Academy, and Candelita from Gramada, by Cape Cross, have both now won four times in relatively light racing careers.
Trade Fair, who stands the coming season at Alwyn Park, Serpentine, at an unchanged $4,500, plus GST, has now sired 131 individual winners, who have been successful from 1000m to 3800m.
