And The Winning Run Continues

Trade Fair’s super winning run continues – this time in Macau.

The four-year-old Sunshine Tacker scored an outstanding 3 3/4-length win in The Ashley (1200
sunshine tackerm) on Saturday in a sizzling 1.09.40.
Sunshine Tacker is trained by Pat Lee for Cheng Ting Kong and was ridden by well-travelled Charles P
erkins.
Perkins started his apprenticeship with champion trainer Criquette Head at Chantilly in France but after just four rides transferred to Patrick Biancone in the United States.
After 18 months with Biancone, who trained All Along and Sagace to win the 1983 and 1984 Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe for art dealer Daniel Wildenstein, Perkins joined up with Mark Johnston in England.
After just five rides with Johnston he headed to Macau where he rode 28 winners in 2012 and was champion apprentice.
Sunshine Tacker is from the maternal line that has produced Famous Roman (Group 2 Lee-Steere Stakes and Group 3 R.J. Peters Stakes), Western Jewel (Group 2 Perth Cup) and Timeless Action (Group 3 Strickland Stakes).
