Brave Bay

Alfred Nobel 4Y0 Dynamite Bay, having his first start, gave a brave performance to win the Allflex maiden (1230m) at Albany on Thursday. (March 7)

Starting the favourite at $3.20, Dynamite Bay worked to lead under 58kg, kicked 2len. clear into the straight and did well to hold on and score by a long neck in 1.17.15 (soft6) – the track was then down-graded to soft7.

Dynamite Bay’s dam, I Say Sasso, by Due Sasso, won over 1100m at  Northam in 22 starts and is a half-sister to Our Grey Halo.

Our Grey Halo, trained by Geoff and Adam, Durrant, won seven times, from 1400m to 2400m, and was second to Empire Dancer in the 2005 Listed 2200m Belmont Clasic and third to Black Tom in the Listed 2200m Tattersall’s Cup in the same year.

Alfred Nobel has sired 88 individual winners.
