Two For Alfred

It was a big two days for Lynward Park’s exciting young sire Alfred Nobel.

2Y0 filly Ada Misobel took the Activelife Leisure Club Stakes (seven furlongs) at Catterick in England on Friday then the 3Y0 filly It’s Dynamite won the Westspeed Handicap (1200m) at Belmont Park on Saturday.
Ada Misobel, ridden by Shane Gray for trainer K.R. Burke, started at 4/1 and beat the even money favourite Bond’s Tricks (by Monsieur Bond) by three lengths. The 20/1 chance Intalza (by Intikhab) was 2 3/4 lengths away third.
It’s Dynamite, ridden by William Pike for trainer Lindsey Smith, started at $7.50 and beat the $1.80 favourite Loopy’s Ladies (by War Chant) by a length. The $13 chance Daisy Express (by Danehill Express) was two lengths away third.
Alfred Nobel has sired 24 individual winners from his first two northern hemisphere crops and first WA crop.
