Alfred Nobel’s Italian Affair

Alfred Nobel two-year-old filly Crazy Feeling was most impressive winning the Premio Campagnola Bella (1100m) in Italy on Saturday. (May 9)

Crazy Feeling, having her second race start, received interference rounding the home turn but still finished strongly.
The filly, from the US-bred Aptina, a mare bred by Prince Khalid Abdullah’s Juddmonte Farms and a half-sister to the Scandinavian champion Binary File, was first sold at the Goffs November Foal Sale in Ireland and then re-sold at the Tattersall’s September Yearling Sale in Ireland.
Alfred Nobel, to stand the coming season at Lynward Park Stud, Bullsbrook, has 15 individual winners and 13 individual place getters from his first two northern hemisphere crops and his first WA crop.
He has had winners England, Ireland, France, Italy and WA.
