Trade Fair Strikes Again

Trade Fair 7Y0 Spice Fair gained his seventh win with a strong display in the Jewellery Handicap (two miles) at Beverley in England yesterday. (Thursday August 14)

Spice Fair, a 12/1 chance ridden by Liam Keniry for trainer Mark Usher, was slow into stride and settled at the tail.
He was sent forward with three furlongs remaining, hit the lead with 50 yards to go and drew away to score by two lengths from Lady O’Reilly’s USA-bred Be Perfect (8/1) with a further 10-lengths to the Irish-bred Kirkman, the 9/4 favourite, in third place.
Spice Fair had won the Instabet Handicap (two miles) at Kempton and the Betfred Handicap (14 furlongs) at Sandown in June.
