Trade Fair’s Long-Priced UK Double

The progeny of Alwyn Park Stud-based Trade Fair completed a long-priced UK double on Saturday. (July 6)
Three-year-old Granny On Fire gained her  first win when successful in the Indaver Handicap (one mile) at Bellewstown in Ireland after starting at 12/1.
Then six-year-old Flag Of Glory claimed his sixth success when taking the AJA Handicap (10 furlongs) at Nottingham in England at 22/1.
Granny On Fire, from Kashra, by Dancing Dissident, was held-up at the rear, made a strong run to lead a furlong out then dashed away to score by four lengths.
Flag Of Glory, from Rainbow Sky, by Rainbow Quest, raced wide till leading inside the final furlong and won by 1 1/2-lengths.
Trade Fair, standing the coming season at an unchanged $4,500, plus GST, has now sired 130 individual winners.
