Coursewecanwin, Balmont Girl and Guerin all won their heats.
Coursewecanwin took a 400m trial for two-year-olds by a length in 25.62sec. at his first public outing. He’s from Arlecchina, by Dauberval, and is a half-brother to the winners Incoherent and Lisetta.
Trained by Brent Albuino, Coursewecanwin was bred by Ted and Marilyn van Heemst, the owners of Lynward Park Stud.
Balmont Girl won a 1000m heat for two-year-olds by 3/4-length in 1.04.57. She’s from Pocket Aces, by Brief Truce, and is from the family of Golden Slipper Stakes winner Guineas and the successful sire Mossman.
Trained by Paula Wagg, Balmont Girl was bred by Michael Adams.
Guerin took a 1000m heat for three-year-olds by 1 1/4-lengths in 1.01.06. She’s from Dare To Be Rich, by Zedrich, and is from the family of the brilliant juvenile Send A Sign.
