Alfred’s Back Looking Great

Lynward Park Stud’s Alfred Nobel has arrived back in WA just as his close relation New Approach, the former European champion 2Y0 and 3Y0, continues the outstanding start to his stud career.
New Approach gained his sixth individual first-crop winner when New Falcon won at Epsom in England on Tuesday (August 28).
New Falcon, trained by James Tate for Saeed Manana, hit the front 100 yards out and drew away to take the JRA Nursery (seven furlongs) by 1 3/4-lengths at 7/1.
New Approach, a five-time Group 1 winner from seven furlongs to 1 1/2 miles headed by the English Derby, is a half-brother to Dazzling Park, the 1999 European champion 3Y0 filly and the grand-dam of Alfred Nobel, winner of the Group 1 Phoenix Stakes and Group 2 Railway Stakes in Ireland.
Lynward Park manager Troy van Heemst reports that Alfred Nobel arrived from Coolmore Stud in Ireland “looking great and heading straight to his feed bin.”
Alfred Nobel will be presented to breeders and guests in a stallion parade at Lynward Park, 2140 Great Northern Highway, Bullsbrook, on Sunday week starting at 11 a.m.
