Trade Fair Star For Australia?

There could be a dramatic change of plans for Trade Fair’s international star Trade Storm.

Trade Storm finished brilliantly to win the $C1 million Woodbine Mile in Toronto, Canada, on Sunday.
The win earned Trade Storm an all-expenses paid start in the $US2 million Group 1 US Breeders Cup Mile at Santa Anita, California, onNovember 1.
English trainer David Simcock said the Breeders Cup would provide Trade Storm with his preferred fast track and fast pace and was the obvious target.
But Simcock back-tracked yesterday and said Trade Storm could have his next run in the $A3 million Group 1 W.S. Cox Plate (2040m) at Moonee Valley on October 25.
“Sheikh Fahad (from Qatar Racing, the owners of Trade Storm) will decide whether Trade Storm goes to America or Australia,” Simcock announced on his web-site
yesterday.
In the meantime, Trade Storm has been flown back to Simcock’s Trillium Place stables in Newmarket to prepare for his next big assignment.
