Orsen’s Not Fooling
When English trained Trade Fair five-year-old Only Orsenfoolsies wins he certainly isn’t fooling.
Only Orsenfoolsies led to win the Jack Smith – A Lifetime In Racing Handicap (12 furlongs) at Pontefract on Monday by eight lengths.
It was his third big win for the year.
Only Orsenfoolsies had won over two miles at Catterick on January 10 by eight lengths and over two miles at Haydock on February 16 by 2 1/2 lengths.
The Pontefract and Catterick wins were the third time Only Orsenfoolsies had won by eight lengths. He had also scored by the same margin over a mile at Beverley on September 25, 2012.
From the Desert Prince mare Desert Gold, the lightly-raced Only Orsenfoolsies is trained at Oxford Stables, North Yorkshire, by former top jumps jockey Micky Hammond.
