On It Goes
Virtual Trader’s all-the-way win in the Drum Print Handicap (1300m) at Pinjarra on Wednesday gave Trade Fair, WA’s sire of the moment, his 11th individual winner in 2 1/2 weeks.
Virtual Trader is from the Encota De Lago mare Virtual and is from the immediate family of Group/Listed winners Blazing Reality, Lady In Reality and Chetwynd South.
Virtual traces directly to the In Reality mare, Cousin Bridget, one of the late Robert Holmes a Court’s first purchases at the world-renowned Keeneland Summer Yearling Sale in Kentucky.
Holmes a Court purchased Cousin Bridget (named after an English cousin) largely because she was from the family of brilliant mare Evening Out, winner of the Monmouth Oaks, Spinaway Stakes, Matron Stakes, Schuylerville Stakes, Fashion Stakes and Regret Stakes in the US.
Virtual Trader’s win was his fifth from 21 starts with six placings.
